This is me, my name is Corbi Van Wagoner. I am a wife, sister, mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt and cousin. I am also an upper grade teacher and last but not least, I AM a friend and advocate. I like to be there for the little guy. Sometimes that means my grandchildren, sometimes it means my daughters' in law but mostly it means my students because they are all a part of my family.
My latest adventure in teaching is the English side of a 5th grade Chinese Immersion class. I teach English Language Arts, Math & Social Studies integration. I adore new challenges but dislike the process of changing. I loose papers all the time, but I always find them again! My life is certainly interesting.
I began teaching in 1996 at Lone Peak Elementary and haven't left yet. I am destine to teach at this fabulous school with fabulous teachers, administrators, students, and parents. I am so lucky!!!!
One more thing I love... visitors. My class has an open door policy. We'd love to have you drop by for a visit. You are welcome to come and just visit OR you may stay and help students, correct something, change some pictures, there are endless opportunities. So please feel free to stop by, just be sure to check in with the office first.
