I didn't get my secret number but you wrote my name down.
Anne frank had a short, sad life, having to leave everything she loved behind, so her family and her could survive. it was during the world war time when Anne frank and her dad, mom and sister Otto, her mother Mrs. Frank and her sister Margot. One day the leader of Germany, Hitler was in power and he wanted the Jews to feel like they weren't good enough, so Anne Frank moved to Switzerland for a while but then they didn't thing Switzerland was safe enough either so they finally moved to a new safe home in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Her father owned his own successful company that sold pectin, a powder that is used to make jam. Her parents were quite different, her dad was thin and joyful and was very social where her mom was very shy and plump. Anne frank got along with a lot of people, because surprisingly most of the people in the class where Jewish too. Anne frank loved it at her new home, she had a journal she carried around and she would write everything that happen'd in her life days went bye as she wrote more and more about life. She loved princess such as princess Elizabeth, and princess Margaret. Her most favorite movie star is Deanna Durbin. as days went bye things changed the Germans made the Jews go to there own private class, making them feel like outcast, also making them sew Jewish stars on there vest. The Jews weren't aloud to be seen after 8:00 pm or before 6:00 am or else they would be killed. The Franks had to hide for 2 years because of the Nazi tanking over. When they were hiding Anne Frank had to live in a old cramped house, loosing her toys, friends, and cat behind, a few family's joined them in the hiding, thinking Anne Frank was spoiled rotten, but they couldn't fight about that because they had to be quit to not be noticed. when Anne Frank turned 15 she got a journal, she named the journal Cat it talked about her friend and all the fun times they had together. A few weeks later the Nazi found out they were hiding and took them to concentration camps. Anne frank died of a sickness called Typhus. The only people in her family that survived was her dad, Otto and the beloved journal of Anne Frank
Wow, you wrote a lot. You have some very interesting facts about Anne Frank. I did not know her journal was named "Cat". That is pretty cool.

By Orion Falkenrath. Secret number 108.
So Orion, I am confused. You started by saying Mandela did something great. What was it? Your writing does not really flow smoothly.
You will not be getting a mastery today, you need to organize better and make your sentences come together more smoothly.

Jesse James was born on September 5, 1847 in Clay County, Missouri. In 1863 or 1864, Jesse joined a group of bushwhackers (bushwhackers were pro-Southern guerrilla fighters, during the Civil War). James became an outlaw because of his love for the South and hatred for the North during the Civil War - first he fought against the North and after the war, he became an outlaw because of revenge. In 1873, the James-Younger Gang (Jesse and his brother Frank's gang) pulled off their first train robbery. After moving from Missouri to Tennessee and back to Missouri, Jesse formed a new gang in 1879. In 1882, Bob Ford (one of his gang members) shot and killed Jesse on April 3.
Cool, Leo! I had no idea who he was and now I think that he is a pretty interesting guy.
Nice job. You gave us some very specific details. I like that.

Dr. Seuss's real name was Theodore Seuss Geisel. He was born on March 2, 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Seuss's goal was to become an illustrator. He worked for two different humor magazines before getting a job creating Flit Bug Killer ads that were hugely popular and made him a lot of money. Because he was tired of only making Flit ads, he began writing and illustrating children's books, since it was one of the few things that Flit would let him do. In 2001, a list was made of the top 150 best selling children's books of all time by Publisher's Weekly and 24 of them were by Dr. Seuss. His first book was rejected by 27 different publishers, but he went on to become the most successful children's book author.
What was the title of his first book? I would like to know.. I love his work.
Who was John F. Kennedy
1. He saved a person's life when their boat crashed. 2 He was the youngest president ever elected so far. 3. He loved to swim. 4. He was in the navy but had to quit because of a back injury and sickness. 5. Sometimes that back injury that he got in football was so bad that he had to use crutches.
John F. Kennedy was the thirty-fifth president. It wasn't really his decision to become president. It was mostly his dad that wanted him to be made president. These are some highlights and interesting facts about him. He had a big family. This is his family from youngest to oldest. Teddy, Jean, Bobby, Pat, Eunice, Kathleen (Sometimes known as Kick), Rosemary, Jack (Real name John), and Joe Jr. When John was 2 years old he got scarlet fever, which was a deadly illness. It was very contagious so he had to be separated from his mom and baby sister Kathleen. He went to Princeton University for college. After he graduated from college he went to work for the navy, and that is when a Japanese destroyer destroyed their ship. After that John went and did political things. And last he became president with help from his family. A little after becoming the president he met a girl named Jacqueline Kennedy who he asked to date, and eventually, married. Then he went to Texas to do things. While he was driving a little girl had a sign that said "Mister president, will you shake hands with me?" So he did. Then as they went further they heard a gun shoot. Then Jacqueline Kennedy said " Oh, no, no, no!" John Had been shot. They rushed him to a near by hospital but it was too late. John Fitzgerald Kennedy was dead.

Jane Goodall is a scientist that loved chimpanzees. She spent a lot of her life researching chimps in Tanzania. She is still alive and is turning 80 years old on April 3. Jane's little sister was born on James 4th birthday. She was alive when World war 2 was happining. She had to move to live with her grandma in Bournemouth because she was in the place where WW2 was happening. Every day she would wake up and go out and see the chimps. She gave the chimps names like Gilka, Frodo, David Graybeard, Flo, Flint (Flo's baby).
Nice Job Quinn. I was not aware that she lived in WWII. Many people did move away from the area during the war. Others just sent their children out to the country to stay with relatives during the war. Jane was very fortunate and found a passion with the Chimpanzees.
Ronald Reagan was a really cool President. He was born February 6th, 1911 to a poor family. He was nicknamed dutch because of his "fat dutch-boy" appearance. He was a radio sports newscastser and an actor before he became president. He was also the 33rd governor of California. He was elected in 1981. 69 days after his election he survived an assassination attempt where he was shot in the chest. During his presidency he dropped the federal tax rate from 50% to 38.6%. He really helped the economy. He died at the age of 93 of Alzheimer's on June 5th, 2004. His wife, who he met while filming a movie, died a few weeks ago on March 6th. Obama was uninvited from the funeral of Nancy Reagan due to "disrespectful comments". Today he is regarded as one of the best presidents of the modern era.

Eleanor Roosevelt, A Life of Discovery
Secret number: 38
Eleanor Roosevelt was an amazing woman, and a very important First Lady during World War II. Eleanor's parents both died when Eleanor was very young. Not very many people saw Eleanor as a very attractive person. Eleanor was always self-conscious that she was never meeting her parents expectations. She was a very shy little girl. Later in Eleanor's life she was sent to a boarding school, that's where her potential was brought out. Everyone at the boarding school respected her, she would receive gifts from all of the younger girls at the school. While she was in school, she got engaged to Franklin D. Roosevelt her fifth cousin. FDR then later became President of the United States of America. Eleanor had a huge impact on World War II. She visited very many countries during the war, she visited a lot of the injured soldiers from the U. S. While she was away, she got a call saying her husband had passed away. He passed away April 12th, 1945. After FDR's death Eleanor felt she didn't have much of an impact on the post war world. Sadly, Eleanor died November 7th, 1962. Eleanor had many amazing achievements and a huge impact on the nation.
