Bentley, way to start us off. Excellent job on your book talk.
Keep those posts coming. The two posted so far look great. I love the fact that Boston commented on Bentley's book talk.
Boston, I have looked at that book for years and was never motivated to pick it up and read. You have inspired me to read Zia! Congratulations!
STUDENTS: DO NOT FORGET TO ADD YOUR AUTHOR'S NAME!

This is an incredible journey we are embarking on. I am so tired of reading poorly written paper book reports and having students try to get away with reading an easy book, I decided to try something very different. I appreciate any feedback provided. I new at this and am trying to expand my technology horizons.
Student will be required to read 5th grade level chaptered books of 150 pages or more. They will have to post at school unless someone can help us figure out how to have them post from home.
I encourage comments! Students need to understand their role, they own this, they are responsible for publishing a blog, book talk. This type of writing is real world.

Best friends Dak Smyth and Sera Froste discover the key to time travel — the Infinity Ring — they're swept up in a centuries-long secret war for the fate of mankind. Recruited by the Hystorians, a secret society that dates back to Aristotle, the kids learn that history has gone disastrously off course — and it's up to them to fix it, with the help of teenage Hystorian-in-training Riq. First stop: Spain, 1492, where a sailor named Christopher Columbus is about to be thrown overboard in a deadly mutiny.
